1 John 1:5 This is the message [of God’s promised revelation] which we have heard from Him and now announce to you, that God is Light [He is holy, His message is truthful, He is perfect in righteousness], and in Him there is no darkness at all [no sin, no wickedness, no imperfection]. 1 John 1:5 Here is the message we have heard from Christ [him] and now announce [proclaim; declare] to you: God is light [referring to God’s truth and goodness], and in him there is no darkness [referring to falsehood and evil] at all.
1 John 4:8 God is love. [He is the originator of love, and it is an enduring attribute of His nature.]
Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by which we must be saved [for God has provided the world no alternative for salvation].”
Acts 4:12 Only Jesus has the power to save! His name is the only one in all the world that can save anyone.
Acts 2:36 “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
Romans 10:13 All who call out to the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 As it says in the Bible: ‘The Lord God will save everyone who asks him for help.’ Acts 2:21 “Then the ones who cry out to the Great Spirit will be made whole and set free.” Romans 10:13 For each man, whoever shall inwardly call [whoever shall in-call] the name of the Lord, shall be safe.
Mark 16:15 Jesus said to them, “Go everywhere in the world, and ·tell [preach; proclaim] the ·Good News [Gospel] to ·everyone [all creation].
Mark 16:15 And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to every · creature.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 God loved the people in the world so much that he gave his one and only Son to save them. As a result, everyone who believes in the Son will not die. Instead, they will live for ever with God.’
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not being slow to do what he has promised to do. Some people may think that he is being slow to do it. But he is being patient with you. He does not want to destroy anyone. He wants all people to turn away from the wrong things that they do.
2 Peter 3:9 Now the Lord is not slow about enacting His promise—slow is how some people want to characterize it—no, He is not slow but patient and merciful to you, not wanting anyone to be destroyed, but wanting everyone to turn away from following his own path and to turn toward God’s.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some consider slowness. Rather, He is being patient toward you—not wanting anyone to perish, but for all to come to repentance.
To repent (to turn back to God who is the eternal Father of all) and to only be under the care of the one who created you, the one who loves and cares for you, and the one who is the source of love, peace, healing and all that is good, you can think or speak out loud the prayers typed below:
Option # 1: “Lord, please help me. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray.”
Option # 2: “Lord, I’m in a really bad situation and I need help. Please help me. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray.”
Option # 3: “God who created the universe, the cosmos, the heavens and the earth and all creation including me, please be merciful to me a sinner (a wrong doer and a criminal). I repent for all my sins and I renounce Satan and all of his works because he is my enemy and my adversary and he only seeks to steal, kill and destroy me and all my blessings. I declare that Jesus Christ is Lord and my Savior. In accordance to your Word, I pray that you please forgive me and please rescue me from death and the powers of darkness and bring me into the Kingdom of Heaven of your beloved Son Jesus Christ through who I have salvation and the forgiveness of all sins, all wrong doings and all crimes. I pray to only be under your care because you are the source of love, peace and all that is good, and you only have plans for me to prosper with you and to give me a future full of hope. Thank you that there is no darkness, sin or evil in you. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you that I am now reconciled with you for eternity and that I have been sealed by your Holy Spirit of God for the day of redemption and to be with you in the new heaven and the new earth where there will be no death, no sorrow, no crying and no pain and there will only be your Light and righteousness. In the name of the Lord Jesus Chris, I pray.”
An alternate prayer to repent (to turn back to God): “God who is the God of gods, the God of the Kingdom of Heaven and the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, I present to you my spirit, my soul and my powers as a living sacrifice so I can be holy and acceptable unto you, which is my reasonable service to you. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray.”
An alternate prayer to repent (to turn back to God): “God who is the God of gods and the God who created the universe, the heavens and the earth, I offer my soul, my spirit and my powers to you. God, if you are willing, please remove all burdens and bondage from me. God, if it is possible, please save me from this time of great pain. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray.”
Prayer of Total Surrender to Jesus Christ, the Anointed One, The Chosen One, the Master of All, The King of kings and the Lord of Lords, the Lord of Victory who is invincible in every way and stronger than anything in this world, the only One who defeated the enemy and who can save from the punishment of sin
Heavenly Father, I come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, my Lord and Savior.
Today, I lay down my life at the foot of the Cross. I choose to surrender all that I am—my spirit, soul, and body—into the hands of the One who died and rose again for me.
Lord Jesus, You said, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me” (Luke 9:23, NKJV). Today I choose to deny myself. I choose to let go of my own will, my own way, and my own desires, that I may follow You without reservation. I confess that without You, I can do nothing, but through You, I can do all things (John 15:5; Philippians 4:13). I surrender my past, with all its failures, sins, and regrets, to Your cleansing blood. For Your Word declares, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
Wash me anew, Lord. Purify my heart. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me (Psalm 51:10). I surrender my present circumstances into Your hands. You are my Shepherd, and I shall not want (Psalm 23:1). You are the One who orders my steps, for “the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way” (Psalm 37:23). Even when I do not understand, I trust in You. As it is written, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5–6).
Lord, I surrender my future. I will not fear tomorrow, for You hold my tomorrow. You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End (Revelation 22:13). My life is hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3). Therefore, I cast all my cares upon You, knowing that You care for me (1 Peter 5:7). I surrender my will. Like Jesus prayed in Gethsemane, “Not My will, but Yours, be done” (Luke 22:42). Break every stubbornness within me that resists Your leading. Remove every idol from my heart. May I never cling to anything above You. For You alone are my Lord, and besides You, I have no good thing (Psalm 16:2). I surrender my body as a living sacrifice. Your Word commands, “Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service” (Romans 12:1). I lay down my appetites, my habits, and even my weaknesses. Let every member of my body be an instrument of righteousness unto You (Romans 6:13). I surrender my mind. Lord, transform me by the renewing of my mind, that I may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2).
I take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). I will meditate on things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtuous, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). I surrender my heart. Lord, I will love You with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind, and with all my strength (Mark 12:30). Let my heart be tender before You, humble, and obedient. Let me walk in the fear of the Lord all the days of my life (Proverbs 9:10). I surrender my relationships. I forgive those who have wronged me, just as Christ forgave me (Colossians 3:13).
I release bitterness, anger, and resentment, for Your Word says, “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you” (Ephesians 4:31–32). I surrender my family into Your hands. I declare, as Joshua did, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15). I surrender my children, my spouse, my loved ones, to Your perfect will. Protect them, guide them, and bring them into the fullness of Christ. I surrender my possessions and resources. Everything I have belongs to You. “The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein” (Psalm 24:1). Teach me to be a faithful steward of all You entrust to me. May my treasures not be stored on earth but in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy (Matthew 6:19–20).
Lord Jesus, I surrender my ministry and calling into Your hands. Use me for Your glory. Let my light so shine before men, that they may see my good works and glorify my Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). Not unto me, O Lord, not unto me, but to Your name give glory (Psalm 115:1). I surrender my destiny. You said, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11). Fulfill Your purpose in me, O God. Let me finish my race with joy and the ministry I received from the Lord Jesus (Acts 20:24). I declare today, I am crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me (Galatians 2:20). Lord, I surrender all. Take my life and let it be consecrated to You. Take my moments and my days; let them flow in ceaseless praise. I give You my all—my heart, my mind, my strength, my future, my eternity. I pray all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Amen.
